“Darla” is a lovely pit mix that was found wandering in the Brewster Road / New Haven Avenue area on June 21.
She is about 2 years old and is not yet spayed, but will be soon.
Visit this sweet girl at the shelter.
Another pit mix that you have to meet is “Lily.” She’s about 18 months old and a ball of energy.
Lily was found in April dragging a pink leash along Naugatuck Avenue.
She is spayed and has her rabies shot.
NOTE: Families with small children not recommended for either dog due to their size and energy level: no determination yet on how they are with other animals (although during our visit they seemed fine with one another)
The Shelter is open Monday – Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
