Natalie Wright of West Haven used to work in the corporate world, packing on the pounds while she sat at a desk all day. She discovered that she could lose weight and get into shape by dedicating several hours a week to exercise and lost more than 60 pounds.
With renewed confidence in herself, and loving her new look and the way she felt, Natalie quit the office job and decided to go into business for herself. In March 2011, she opened the Wright Movez Studio at 1088 Boston Post Road in West Haven and began teaching Zumba classes.
(So, Terri you ask, what does this have to do with Orange?)
With the popularity of Zumba at an all time high, Natalie decided to open a new, bigger studio in Orange at the former Barnes and Noble site at 109 Boston Post Road.
If you drive through the parking lot looking for it next to Medi Weight Loss, don’t think you’re in the wrong place, The Wright Movez will be located in the rear of the plaza where there is plenty of parking for her students. The studio is still under construction but will be ready soon.
Next week, you can come to the plaza and meet Natalie, who will be there answering questions and taking pre-registration paperwork for interested clientele.
The Orange studio will be open 7 days a week and feature lunch express classes, boot camp, beginners classes and whatever you need to “Move” your way into shape.
Natalie has kept that 65 pounds off since she lost it, and she believes you can do it too.
Orange Live soon will have more information on Wright Movez, and the membership specials Natalie will be offering.
And here’s an interesting little tidbit, her husband owns The Wright Cut Llc in Orange in the rear of 91 Boston Post Road.
