Skipping On A Tab
Police were dispatched to TGI Friday’s Restaurant, 348 Boston Post Road, on a dispute complaint Aug. 31 at 11:09 p.m.
Investigation revealed that Ramon Pons, 31, of 96 Dayton St., Bridgeport, had left the restaurant without paying his bar tab. When employees asked him to come back inside and pay, he caused a scene inside the restaurant.
When officers arrived, Pons reportedly refused to comply with their commands, and he was subsequently taken into custody and charged with sixth-degree larceny, breach of peace and interfering with an officer.
He was released on $500 bond for court Sept. 14.
Accused shoplifter arrested
Officers responded to the Kohl’s department store, 250 Bull Hill Lane, on a shoplifting complaint Sept. 6 at 4:42 p.m.
According to the report, Francisco Romero, 32, of 1382 North Main St., Waterbury, had taken $50 worth of clothing out of the store without paying. Store employees stopped him and detained him for police.
During the investigation, officers reportedly found a variety of drug paraphernalia in a backpack Romero was carrying.
He was subsequently taken into custody and charged with sixth-degree larceny and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Romero was released after posting $500 bond for court Sept. 20.
