In memory of Patricia Jordan

Patricia Ellen Jordan of Branford, born on October 10 1943 in New Haven, died peacefully at her home on September 7, 2012 surrounded by her loving family after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.

She was predeceased by her parents Rita Griffin Jordan and Carl W. Jordan, Sr. of Hamden, CT.

She is survived by her sisters Kathy Jordan of Orange, Pamela Clark of Hamden, Nancy Alling of Fredericksburg, VA and her brother Carl and his wife Sue Jordan of Hamden.

She is also survived by nephews Steven and David Clark of New Haven, Michael Sgro of Orange, Ben Alling of Fredericksburg, VA and niece Kendra Alling of Fredericksburg, VA.

Pat was employed by Olin Corporation in New Haven for 25 years. Following her retirement she was an active member of various community organizations that included the Connecticut Traumatic Brain Injury Association.

Pat was a faithful member of Christ Chapel Church. The family would like to acknowledge the generous love and support of her life long friends Grace Walsh, Joe & Diane Chiarelli, Kim Chong, and cousins Rae and Tommy Spivey and Bonnie Conroy Nuzzo. She was predeceased by her loyal and life long friend Donna Gillespie Kafka.

The family also wants to especially thank Christ Chapel Church members for their generous love and support which greatly enhanced Pat’s life. Pat will be remembered for her kindness, her willingness to help others and her devotion to family.

A service will be held at Christ Chapel Church, 1185 Durham Rd (Rt. 79) in Madison, Connecticut on September 15, 2012 at 11:30 am with a celebration of her life to follow.
