On Aug. 7, officers were called to Stop & Shop on Bull Hill Lane on a complaint that Latasha Harris, 26, of 47 Sheffield Ave., New Haven, had entered the store with her small child and struck the child’s father, who is a store employee.
Harris reportedly left before officers arrived and a warrant was obtained for her arrest.
She surrendered herself at the Orange Police Headquarters on Sept. 10 at 1:33 p.m. after learning of the warrant, and she was charged with second-degree beach of peace and risk of injury to a minor.
Harris was released after posting $2,500 bond for court Sept. 11.
