Protect your property from thieves (credit auto.aol)
Police Chief Robert Gagne is asking residents to lock their vehicles overnight and to take valuables with them when the vehicle is unattended due to six recent thefts from vehicles that have been reported since Sept. 17.
In a press release, Gagne said there have been six overnight incidents reported since September 17th – 1 on the 17th, 2 on the 21st, 2 on the 26th, and 1 on the 27th.
Areas affected have been Dogburn Lane, Derby Avenue, Woodruff Road, Pine Tree Drive, Hawthorne Lane, and Birchwood Drive.
Residents are asked to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to police at 203-891-2130.
