In Memory of June Costello
June Elaine Costello, age 81, lifelong resident of Milford and beloved wife to Linwood S. Costello, Sr., entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 22, 2012 at Milford Hospital. Born on June 10, 1931 in Milford, she was the daughter of the late Hiram and Grace M. Spring Beckwith. A kind, loving, dedicated and generous wife, mother, grandmother and sister, she adored her family.
June’s greatest joy was spending time with her family, sharing in their lives, cooking, baking and tending her garden. Before having her own children, June was devoted to caring for foster children. Family was everything to her and she loved caring for her friends. June will be genuinely missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her devoted husband, Linwood of 63 years, she is survived by her daughter, Susan Macisco (Tom) of Milford, sons; Linwood Costello, Jr. (Sandy) of Stratford, Robert Costello (Tammy) of Orange, Jack Costello (Loranda) of Milford and her “adopted” daughter Terri Waldron; her grandchildren, Lin, Chris and Cassy Costello, Melissa Mulla and Valerie Costello, Army Spc. Jason Broadbent, Caitlin Costello, Allison and Craig Macisco and Merritt and Stefanie Waldron and great-grandchildren, and loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Arthur, Kenneth, Ernest, Charles, Russell, Samuel and Robert Beckwith, Sarah Drew-Baird and Lillian Paige.

Friends and family may call on Wednesday, October 24th from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT 06460. A Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, October 25th at 10:00 a.m. at Cody-White Funeral Home. Interment to follow at King’s Highway Cemetery.
