Chief Robert Gagne, Officer David Scinto, Officer Harrison Pollock, and Assistant Chief Anthony Cuozzo following the new officers’ swearing in.

The Orange Police Department welcomed two new officers into its ranks on Monday morning.

Orange native Harrison Pollock, and David Scinto of Trumbull completed training at the police academy and now will learn the lay of the land with a field training officer for a couple of months before going out on patrol alone.

Many residents will recognize Pollock from his work as an Orange Volunteer Firefighter. He was raised in Orange and graduated from Amity Regional High School.

He studied Criminal Justice at the University of New Haven and has been employed by the Town of Trumbull as an Emergency Services Dispatcher.

Scinto was raised in Trumbull and graduated from Trumbull High School.

He studied Criminal Justice at Housatonic Community College.

His father, Lenny is a Detective Sgt. in the Trumbull Police Department.

Chief Robert Gagne is happy to welcome these new officers to the department.
