Opinion: Anderson Trial Strategy Infuriates Me » Orange Live

The victims of the crash for which officer Jason Anderson is on trial.

The trial of Milford Police Officer Jason Anderson (or, if what I hear about the defendant’s attorney’s approach is true – the trial of the late David Servin) is now underway at the Milford courthouse.

Unfortunately, with a writing staff of one, Orange Live cannot attend the trial so, I will refer readers to other print media that I trust to relay the story.

I covered the actual incident three years ago when I was with the Amity Observer and my opinion of the event has not changed — every time the defense attorney speaks, I most likely would want to say something that would warrant being banned from the court room anyway.

It is my strong opinion that the officer is guilty until proven innocent, and it makes my blood boil every time I hear that the defense is trying to pin this on David Servin or Ashlie Krakowski.

Here is a link to the story in the CT Post, written by John Burgeson who has been in the court room watching things unfold.

  1. If he had been driving 60 mph (which is breaking the law) there wouldn’t have been an accident. Other than manslaughter, what other laws did he break?
