An Orange resident posted the following notice on the Orange Live Facebook Page around midnight.
“I found a beautiful white husky at my house on Haystack Hill Rd. right off of Grassy Hill Rd. Currently in my possession. She is not harmed….no name tag…has an invisible fence collar on…must’ve ran through it.”
On Friday morning, the owner called the Orange police seeking help in finding the lost dog and were pointed in the direction of the Good Samaritans who took her in overnight.
“I felt so bad for the poor woman,” said the overnight care taker. “I’m surprised the dog didn’t get hurt on the busy Grassy Hill Road.”
A very happy ending indeed.
