116 Boston Post Road in Orange
Officers were dispatched to 116 Boston Post Road (Game X Change) near the West Haven town line for an activated burglar alarm on Dec. 30, at 4:58 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers found the front door of Game X Change had been shattered, and it appeared entry had been made.
Officers observed a trailer hitch with ball laying on top of the snow directly in front of the shattered door. Several hand held video games reportedly were stolen.
The store’s Closed Circuit TV camera captured a white male wearing a green jacket with and embroidered design on the back and dark hat entering the store, grabbing merchandise from a display case and fleeing in what appears to be a dark colored pick up truck.
The Orange Police Department is looking for the public’s help in identifying the burglar. Anyone with information can call Orange Police Detective John Reshotnik at 203-891-2138.
