Asst. Police Chief Anthony Cuozzo filled us in on what the police are doing to keep the town safe during the Blizzard.
• Increasing patrols for Friday and Saturday
• Met with the Emergency Management Council at 5 p.m. on Thursday to determine if additional measures were needed.
• The department is taking things moment by moment to see how the storm develops.
• Expect hazardous conditions and ask residents to limit travel during the storm.
• Will respond to calls as usual. All vehicles have 4-wheel drive and are fueled up and ready to go.
• The most important thing is that everyone be prepared before the weather gets really bad, and stay safe.
