Selma (Herzog) Young, 85, of Meriden and formerly of New Haven, wife of Joe Young, died on Monday, March 4, 2013.
Born in New Haven, Feb. 11, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Nathan & Mary (Dannowitz) Zudekoff. Beloved Mother of Jayne (Wesley) Markman of Orange, Michael Herzog of Dallas, Tx., & Jeffrey Herzog of East Haven. Dear Sister of Dr. Sydney (Arlene) Zudekoff of West Palm Beach, Fl. Cherished grandmother of Adam & Rachel Markman.
Funeral Services at Robert E. Shure Funeral Home, 543 George St., New Haven Thursday afternoon at 1 p.m. with Interment Services to follow at Bikur Cholim-Sheveth Achim Cemetery, Brockett Pl., East Haven.
The Family will begin to receive at the funeral home at 12 p.m. Memorial Contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society , 825 Brook St., I-91 Tech Center, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
