This morning as you wake up, you are finding more than a dusting on your cars, driveways and streets. Were you ready? Moreso, was the town prepared?
Orange Live spoke with Highway Department Foreman Don Foyer on Tuesday, and after watching the storm switch positions several times in the beginning of the week, he decided that we would most likely only get a dusting with no major problems.
Foyer said the trucks were prepared for a snow event just in case and he only expected some slushy conditions but not much more. So, when the snow started coming in and the entire state began seeing snow on top of the remnants of remaining snow mounds left by the last winter storm he and his men were ready.
Rest Assured, the Highway Department is out and about making the roads safe for you.
