The Orange Volunteer Firefighters are on scene of a chimney fire on Orange Center Road.  Traffic is/was jammed in the 700 area because of the apparatus needed for the task.

When Asst. Chief Charles Sherwood arrived around 4:35 p.m. he reported that black smoke coming from the chimney and a person was on the roof checking it out.

Firefighters are using a thermal imaging camera to check the inside walls.
