For two decades the holiday light display on Riverdale Road has attracted people from near and far.
Last year this neat, tastefully decorated home caught the attention of the entire nation when it became one of the top 11 Best Light Displays in an online contest.
With that recognition behind them, and with their children all grown, the couple that resides there decided to add another piece to their display this year. A collection box. No, it’s not for money to help pay their electric bill, but a food donation box to help fill the Orange Community Services food bank shelves.
In these trying times there are still some people out of work and in need of various items that they get from Community Services.
If you’re wondering what type of items the Orange Community Services takes for the bank, here is a list they recently provided us.
Riverdale Road is off of Ridge Road between Orange Center and Old Grassy Hill Road. Come on out and enjoy the display and don’t forget to bring a non-perishable item in your car when you venture out.
