Fresh Strawberry Shortcake
The sun was shining, Al deCant was singing, children were smiling, hoops were hula-ing and strawberry-rhubarb pies were selling out as fast as people could buy them at the annual Orange Strawberry Festival.
Everyone seemed to have a wonderful time as you can see in this video and everyone is already looking forward to next year’s festival!

Wondering what to do on Sunday? Fear not, there’s an all-day event waiting for you and your family.
The Orange Strawberry Festival, originally scheduled for tomorrow, June 2, has been postponed til Sunday, June 3 according to an announcement on the festival website:
Due to the prediction for rain tomorrow (Saturday, June 2, 2012), the Orange Strawberry Festival will now be held on SUNDAY, JUNE 3, 2012. We hope to see you all there!!!
The Festival takes place on the green in front of the Congregational Church. It is an all-day event, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with live music, vendors and games.
Menu includes Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Steak & Cheese, Sausage & Peppers, Drinks, and of course the most amazing Strawberry Shortcake anywhere.
